About
Cara holds a BA and MA in literary studies from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Her master's thesis was entitled _Kay Boyle's Death of a Man: Gothic Analogues and Political Realities_.
She has published in _Thirdspace: A Journal of Feminist Theory and Culture_ and in _Peitho_, the newsletter for the Coalition of Women Scholars in the History of Rhetoric and Composition.
She has been teaching since 2001. Her dissertation title is _Re-Membering Ancient Women: Hypatia of Alexandria and Her Communities_.
